Week 1 Tryout Recap

With the start of a Week 2 of our 2017 Football/Compettion Tryouts starting tomorrow (Monday 3/6/2017) I wanted to take a moment to recap the first week of tryouts.

We had a great turnout and every one of the candidates for the 2017 season have been working hard and shown progress throughout the week.  The coaching staff has begun laying out ideas for the teams but NOTHING is set in stone at this time and we will continue to evaluate each candidate in each area as we begin to finalize team placements.

Please remember that placement letters will be available at 5pm on Friday, March 10, 2017 on the Patio at Sprayberry High School.  Candidates will be reminded of this throughout the week.

Also remember that the 2017 Made-It Meeting for the 2017 teams will be held on Monday, March 13 and more information about this meeting will be included in the placement letters for those who are selected to the program.  This a MANDATORY meeting for both the cheerleaders and parents.  At the Made-It Meeting we will be collecting the $250 program fundraiser fee from each cheerleader and they will each be given 10 coupon books to sell for $25 each. Once the books are sold the money you collect will serve as your reimbursement for the $250 that you paid at the Made-It Meeting.  This is the only program fundraiser we will do (to purchase new mats) and each additional fundraising opportunity will be to assist in your personal cheer account.

Lastly a REMIND groiup has been setup to serve as reminders throughout the week.  Parents are welcome to join the list by texting @shscheert to the number 81010.

Here's to a great Week 2 of tryouts!
